Foreign currency exchange
The official currency is the nuevo sol, represented by the symbol “S/.”. Most business establishments accept dollars at the daily exchange rate. Currency exchange service is available at the cash register in our Reception area 24 hours a day. Additionally, you may exchange dollars and euros at banks.

Climate
The city of Arequipa has a semi-dry, temperate climate, with a mean maximum temperature of 21ºC and a minimum of 7ºC. During the day it is warm and in the evening, the temperature drops. The coldest months are from June to September. http://uk.weather.com/

Taxis
It is best to avoid taking a taxi cab on the street; we recommend that you request one at the hotel reception desk. It is not customary to tip the driver.
