The hotel looks fantastic! We are planning on traveling to Cusco in August. If we book a reservation now, will we be able to receive SPG status benefits upon our arrival? Will the reservation be transferred to Starwood's system?

We stayed at the Cuzco Libertador and had a wonderful stay. The location was excellent and the amenities were great. We are glad that Gate-1 Travel chose your hotel for our two nights stay from Sept. 20 to22, 2012. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful.

We had the pleasure of staying at the CuscoLibertador for 2 nights May 2012, and we loved the location, service, ambiance...everything! We were so pleased to stay in such a beautiful hotel right in the heart of the city, and we delighted in the Inca ruins that were incorporated into the structure of the hotel. The staff was extremely professional and attentive to our every need. Thank you for making Peru a memorably elegant experience for us.

Stayed at Libertador Lima on Los Eucaliptos two weeks ago, liked it.
Two suggestion on things I would like to see:
1. Electronic safes. At present you have a key safe and as a traveler I do not trust that, as too many people have access to the front desk area in any hotel. Passports are important and need to be locked up.
2. The front desk should have a printed list of restaurants within some distance like 3 km perhaps. At present you get only those that the staff has themselves been to. I was told by a doorman that there were no restaurants within 8 blocks tho Delphines has one and the Country club next door has one.
Enjoyed our stay, good staff.

As a matter of fact, electronic safe cabinets (the ones you can put a laptop inside) are budgeted for the next remodeling. We'll make sure the front desk has all the what-to-do updated information on nearby attractions.
