Exclusive train station at Tambo del Inka, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa

Tambo del Inka, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa situated in the heart of the Sacred Valley, is the only hotel in Urubamba with a private train station to Machu Picchu, from where the guests will be able to start a wonderful journey to the famous incan city.

Since the opening of Tambo del Inka, Perurail includes the Urubamba Station for two of its three tourist trains: Autovagon 601 and Vistadome 304 for those who are staying in the Sacred Valley and have planned a trip to Machu Picchu, this will make it easier to reach that archeological site.

The travellers will enjoy beautiful landscapes full of mountains and vegetation along the Urubamba river to get to the village of Aguas Calientes, where they will take the bus which will transport them to the entry of these magnificent ruins.

The times in which the station is open are from 6 to 10 am and from 4 to 8pm. The station has a ticket office, platform and ladder facilities / access ramp.

The official schedule for the Urubamba Station is:

Autovagon

#601: departs Tambo del Inka at 6.50 A.M., arrives Ollantaytambo at 8:10 A.M. and Aguas Calientes at 10:00 A.M.

Vistadome

#304: departs Aguas Calientes at 15:40, arrives Ollantaytambo at 17:29 and Tambo del Inka at 18:43.
