Westin Lima on the Condé Nast Traveler Hot List
Lima, Peru. April 2012 – Condé Nast Traveler, the prestigious travel magazine, published the list of the best new hotels in the world in its May edition, and we are proud to announce that the Westin Lima Hotel & Convention Center is among those leading hotels.
41 anonymous reporters traveled to 49 countries, staying at hotels that had opened less than a year ago and choosing 121 as the best.
As reported in the magazine, the hotel experience is extraordinarily complete, featuring a restaurant like Maras, whose executive chef is Rafael Piqueras, and excellent bars that are the talk of the town. It also makes references to the marvelous 1800 m2 spa and to the largest convention center in the country.
The Heavenly Spa by Westin also made to the Hot List 2012 as one of the new 35 spas in the world to relax and recharge. The editors mention its state-of-the-art technology, as well as lightning, music, some treatments and even scents that help to create a special atmosphere that favours physical and emotional wellness.
The Westin Lima opened its doors almost one year ago and, since then, has been the hotel of choice for the majority of international film and music stars who have visited our country as well as important foreign dignitaries. What is more, the convention center has hosted the most important events in the country.
