Tambo del Inka earns a Starwood Award
Lima, August 2012 – At a recent meeting of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Latin America Division in Lima, Tambo del Inka, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, was given the 2011 GSI Award for being the top hotel in customer satisfaction last year.
Each month, Starwood hotels conduct a satisfaction survey, the results of which are then placed in a ranking called the Guest Satisfaction Index (GSI). In this case, Tambo del Inka was awarded for having the highest rate of satisfaction among its guests, a distinction the hotel managed to garner after being in operation a scant two years.
Tambo del Inka is part of the Libertador chain, opening its doors in 2010. Since then, it has won numerous awards for excellence in quality and service. In addition to the TripAdvisor recognition of being the top hotel in South America and 9th best in the world, the hotel has now earned the GSI Award.
The honor was presented to Pablo Marconi, manager of Tambo del Inka, by Osvaldo Librizzi, president of Starwood Latin America.
