Main Square |

Surrounded by "sillar" volcanic stone portals and facing the imposing Cathedral, the Main Square has a beautiful bronze fountain with three basins crowned with the figure of a 16th century soldier. |

Considered one of the city's first religious centers, this 17th century church was built in a neoclassical style. The access to the temple is by its lateral naves.

Santa Catalina Monastery |

Inaugurated as a cloister in 1580, the convent is divided in quarters that are distributed in the same way as the city's first districts.

Misti Volcano |

The Misti represents Arequipa's traditional and main symbol. From its hilltop it is possible to watch the whole city, the Chili river valley and the Chachani and Pichu Pichu volcanoes. Located 17.5 km northeast of the city, its peak is 5,822 meters high. |

Yura Thermal Baths |

Located 30 km north of the city, these baths are reknown for their water's therapeutic properties with temperatures ranging from 29ºC (84.2ºF) to 31ºC (87.8ºF) and they consist of thermal pools located next to the Chachani volcano at 2,530 meters above sea level. |
