Anniversary celebration of the province of La Convención, whose capital is the city of Quillabamba. Each year, during the same week, Miss Coffee or Miss Quillabamba is elected and cockfight championships take place, as well as motocross competitions. Music festival with national and international dancers at the Cocla Fair.

Señor de Huanca (Lord of Huanca) |
| Province of Calca, district of San Salvador.
The story of Señor de Huanca begins in 1675 when, the legend says, Jesus Christ appeared in a cave before a native called Diego Quispe. His lively account inspired one of the epoch's best artists to paint the image on the rock. The cult's (acknowledged in 1779) main celebration day is September 14th and devotees from all around Peru and Bolivia meet in this place to cure their afflictions of body and soul.
