Volunteering

There are many activities that encourage our partners and employees to get involved in local social issues, often driven by the employees themselves as they identify opportunities to share their knowledge and time.

• 
  Tambo del Inka:

  For the past three years our employees have been offering cooking workshops, lessons on table and events setup, etc. to students of the Arco Iris Foundation in Urubamba, and recently they have expanded to include Arariwa students.

• 
  Palacio del Inka:

  Our employees volunteer their time to Casa Hogar Mantay, giving baking classes that allow them to be self-sustainable, and nutrition classes teaching the adolescent mothers to better feed their babies.

• 
  Hotel Paracas:

  This year our employees volunteered in one of the campaigns of Mission Caritas Felices (Happy Faces), a non-profit organization providing surgery for children with cleft lip. About 30 employees donated their time to help patients and families during the four days of evaluations, operations and postoperative review.

• 
  Westin Lima:

  We are working with the Hogar de las Bienaventuranzas, in the construction of two classrooms at its new location. One group of hotel employees have volunteered to sand, plaster and paint the walls, while another group will take charge of the decoration and furnishing of the classrooms.
